February 14 and 16th what's a family day

My hubby gave me a special Valentine's Day gift, I love sloths. But this is not just a Valentine, but also a Family Day gift. What is a family day you ask. Well, it is a day that I celebrated with my Mom, Dad, and sister for years, it was the day I was adopted when I was 16 months old on February 16th, 1968. And ever since I told Jonathan about it he has also made it a special day. If I wasn't adopted I could be anywhere in this world and not have met this wonderful man, so I am very grateful. 

I am also very grateful for my very large extended family, both on my Mom's and Dad's side, my sister, and nieces and nephew. I miss my Mom and Dad very much. We had some hard times, but I also treasure so many wonderful memories like Christmas,  vacations, Cheshire fairs, amusement parks, visiting Aunt Sis and stopping at Benson's animal park on the way, birthdays, BBQs with family and friends,  little league games with my uncle and cousins, Dad always listening to the Red Sox on the radio or giving us horsey rides on his back, mom cooking homemade tomato sauce and holiday treats, and oh her homemade baked beans out of real bean pots from Grammy I can still smell Mom's cooking. 

I remember, as it is winter now how Mom bundle us up in snowsuits wearing Dad's or Grandpa's huge socks over our own, with Mom's knitted scarfs around our necks with matching mittens she also made us. We would go to Mémère's house sledding or just playing in our yard building snowmen.  So many memories. 

Anyway, on my Family Day I would get one gift and a heart shaped cake because it was so close to Valentine's Day. And we would usually go to Lindy's diner for supper. Or I would get any dish I wanted at home. My Family Day does still matter because I have so many wonderful cousins, aunts, and uncles that have been wonderful over the years, and my sister and her family. 

Thank you all including my family, Jonathan's family, and our friends for being a part of my past and present life. A Happy Family Day for me indeed!

Great prices compared to 

Amazon, Walmart, Target, and so on. I have compared exact items from Amazon with Temu, same quality pillow covers, exactly same neodymium magnets, exactly same diamond painting kit, and Christmas decor the same or better from Temu, with many more examples.

Clothes, we wear plus size so very expensive and they are 4 to 5 times cheaper on Temu. Some items are not always the greatest quality but that can be true on Amazon. Many are good, some are thinner and wrinkle easy and I can deal with that and air dry  for such a awesome price.

I cannot say enough to check sizes, they certainly can get you that way, just like Amazon.

Delivery is longer and in bags not boxes. But some boxes in bags that products come in I bought a set of glasses to decorate a shelf in our kitchen with and there wasn't one broken glass and was in a box with Styrofoam.

Craft items are perfect just again check sizes as some the pics can make them look bigger than they are. 

We had a couple times holes in bag and missing items, but they sent a replacement with no issue at all or we could use a coupon for it's price instead.

As far as app issues you are asked to accept permissions request no if you like, so many do not read the terms your fault if do not, not them. Also, all apps can see what you are doing if you accept permissions request and if Apple has no way to shut stuff off that is Apple's fault.

Apple also has parts made in China by the way. Amazon has half its inventory made in China, so just saying.

What I have bought that was awesome quality, a Brady football shirt, a Mahomes football shirt, both just like official. We have two of Brady, the only difference is just that Temu's is not official but again very high quality and big sizes. The official was close to $100 and the Temu was $20 or $25.

Purses, wallets, bags, hats, all perfect and well made.

Pillow covers identical to Amazon with bear silhouettes and super strong magnets.and tension rods good 

Not so good quality, some double sided strong tape that was not as strong as the good 3M stuff. Same with some sticky hooks, A dog blanket was tiny, but that's on me as I didn't look at the size. And probably a couple of other things that were smaller than expected because we didn't check sizes, but that's on us.

In all, I don't see much difference in this app and others. In terms of privacy it's up to you to take care with permissions, and let's be honest there is not much privacy in America, all the Tech companies gather all kinds of information. The point is that  unless you are independently wealthy this is to Amazon, what Amazon was to brick and mortar, Temu with better prices  saving you money.
