Merry Christmas And A Wonderful Holiday Season To All

New House

What a year! Firstly, yes we've moved to a house in New Hampshire, smack on the border of the Lakes Region and the White Mountains (it's the best of both worlds). In a town of only five thousand. This is an even deeper boonies for Lisa, but city boy Jonathan actually wanted the deep woods if we could so this was a compromise. We originally bought it as a vacation house, but loved the area so much that we decided to make it permanent.

We haven't sold the Rhode Island property yet because we have work to get done on it, but will be doing so. Our new home is a two bedroom with two bathrooms. Lisa loves the large open kitchen and living room. It has a huge two-car carport that is more like a garage as it's built-to-house and enclosed on three sides with electricity, all of which Jonathan loves.

The carport leads into a breezeway/family room which was really nice in the summer and fall and we can't wait to enjoy this spring. Jonathan built new stairs up into the kitchen from the breezeway. The large kitchen is open to the living room which Lisa loves (did we mention that before, well she loves it enough that it's worth mentioning again).

The master bedroom is ensuite, with a garden tub and shower. There's a nice back deck off the kitchen, a decent-sized shed, and a laundry closet off the kitchen. The small guest bathroom has a shower and the other bedroom we are using as an office and craft room. But the awesome surprise is an unfinished room behind the breezeway in the back of the master bedroom that we are going to make into a sunroom for plants and sitting. Right now it has no access from inside the house, you have to walk outside and around the carport to get to it. So the plan is to turn the huge closet in the breezeway into two small closets with a door out to the new "sunroom" between them.

We've got a lake down the road and are just 15 minutes from Winnipesaukee. The White Mountains start just up the road and Lisa remembers her Mom always saying how she loved them. And it's just so quiet, we love it. We've seen foxes, turkeys, and deer. And yes, we've already had a bear right outside the carport. As soon as he hears or sees you he runs off, just like any black bear.

Health

Our health has been mostly good this year. Lisa is celebrating three years of Lymphoma remission and one year from Ovarian Cancer surgery.

Jonathan's Rheumatoid Arthritis is still very bad, and he has flares that can be really bad, but his hernia surgery seemed to help some other issues. We have maintained our weight loss from last year and are going on a new diet to lose more this year.

We are just about completely off red meat, eating veggie burgers, turkey, and chicken, although Jonathan rarely still has a burger. We are back to more salads and skipping the bread and rolls again, this will be a big help again for us both as it was in the past.

We have been lucky not to get COVID or Flu, or even much of a cold these last couple of years.

Our Pup

Chosette (usually called Cozy), our Beagle-Poo is great, she is just full of love and joy often jumping into our arms for kisses. She loves playing ball, and with her many toys, or just sleeping on our laps. She is "Cozy" for sure.

Work

Jonathan is still at Citizens and doing well, working from home which is nice. Lisa still does photography when she can, also drawing and crafts. We still have our shop at Zazzle, an adult cancer coloring book of Lisa's on Amazon, and are setting up an Etsy shop for crafts. also, we lost aunt sis this year we miss her so much please visit a memorial page I made for her here with some pics I had.

Have a wonderful Christmas and new year

We have moved to NH November Update

Ok, yup not around much we have been so busy,  ( We have bought a new home and have no mortgage woot woot, can you guess where?  I am sure many can with pics we have shared lately we have moved to NH right smack on the border of the lakes region and white mountain region seriously one direction takes us to the beach down the road the other to the white mountains and we can take the Mt Washington boat ride from the lakes region lol , )

I am loving so much about where we are living in NH Like the quiet is awesome for one, and the wildlife for another, we even had a bear in the front yard as we were unpacking we just yelled and he took off running lol. we have seen fox, (and deer every day in a field down the main road to town sadly I think they are being farmed), we have also seen wild turkeys and crows out front as well as the typical squirrels chipmunks skunks raccoons, and birds that we are used too. our home is on the edge of a forest. we will likely see moose soon enough they say and are moose crossing signs everywhere. we still have our RI house for now. hoping to get a boat for either Squam Lake down the road or Lake Winnipesaukee or Lake Winnisquam I can't wait.

The only negative is that the deer issue I mentioned it bugs me, and we don't even have Dominos Pizza, chic fillet, KFC, or any chicken place when we don't eat red meat any longer when I was a teen 40 years ago in keen NH we had all those things lol, well anyway a big problem though is we do not even talk delivery very little and rides well private from a persons home cab. but I still love it here. They do have a wonderful elderly service for our future, they have a big center for activities, meal home deliveries rides home check-ins, and so on takes away worries about the future in our elderly years like I said. wow NH, it is beautiful. also so much is co-op which is different even electricity is a co-op it is kind of cool. then, of course, the beauty of the mountains in winter and fall is so wonderful and the lakes in summer.

Cozy Cosette loves it she has the back deck and a long carport for running and the house flows so well for her to run around she hates it when we go back to RI to work on the house she is happy to be with us but so much quieter.

Well for now I have to get to work I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season

Hugs All
